StemNiche and Mechanomeds IABs, Pathways to Impact and Training
Between 9th-11th February 2026, colleagues from across our grants and partner universities came together for a focused series of activities designed to enhance collaboration, quality, and impact across our shared research ecosystem. The programme combined strategic discussion, external expert guidance, and hands‑on training to support our growing interdisciplinary community.
International Advisory Board (IAB) Meetings for StemNiche and Mechanomeds
Our advisors — including Viola Vogel, Felipe Prosper, Richard Boyd, and Mary McElroy — engaged with early‑career scientists and engineers working on bioengineered, human‑cell–containing on‑chip models for studying blood cancers. Their insights are helping shape the next stages of this ambitious research programme.
Pathways to Impact Workshop
This workshop supported teams to articulate and refine the downstream impact of their research, ensuring alignment with funder expectations and real‑world clinical and industrial application.
LGC Quality Assurance Training
A dedicated QA session delivered by LGC strengthened our collective understanding of reproducibility, robustness, and regulatory alignment — key pillars of CeMi’s commitment to high‑quality science.
A huge thank‑you to everyone involved. These sessions reinforce the collaborative, ambitious, and supportive research culture we are continuing to build at CeMi.
