CeMi showcase at Westminster
CeMi showcase at Westminster
On 4th November 2025, CeMi had the privilege of attending the Alliance for Human-Relevant Science Parliamentary Showcase at Portcullis House, Westminster. This event brought together leading researchers, companies in the non-animal methods (NAMs) space, and policymakers to discuss the future of UK life sciences and the role of human-relevant research in driving innovation.
The showcase provided a unique opportunity for CeMi to share how our work is advancing cutting-edge approaches that reduce reliance on animal models and deliver more predictive, human-focused outcomes. By engaging directly with MPs and policymakers, we highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts to accelerate the adoption of these methods across research and industry.
The event was hosted by the Alliance for Human-Relevant Science, with support from Cruelty Free International and Replacing Animal Research, and featured interactive displays and discussions on the latest developments in NAMs. CeMi was proud to stand alongside other organisations championing ethical, scientifically robust alternatives that can transform healthcare and improve patient outcomes.
We look forward to continuing these conversations and working with partners to ensure the UK remains at the forefront of human-relevant science.
